As the final full moon before the winter solstice rises, we gather under Rohini Purnima, the Taurus full moon known in Vedic astrology as the Moon of sacred beauty, fertile earth, and embodied creation.

Rohini, “The Red One,” is the Moon’s beloved star—a nakshatra of sensuality, nourishment, and growth. She reminds us that new life is conceived in the dark soil, long before it breaks into the light.

This full moon marks the turning of the wheel—the descent before the rebirth.
